Breck’s Imperial Challenge

A challenging human-powered race up to Peak 8, involving biking/running and then skinning up, often in costumes.

If you’re looking for a tough honest challenge with a low-key community vibe then you’ve come to the right place. The Imperial Challenge helps commemorate springtime in Breckenridge.

All competitors race from the Breckenridge Recreation Center to the base of Peak 7. Then, after transitioning to uphill gear, all competitors climb to the top of Peak 8 at 12,987′. The final leg is the downhill to the finish back at the base of Peak 7.

Saturday, April 4 beginning at 7:00am at the Breckenridge Rec Center

DEFERRAL POLICY
Participant may cancel 8 days prior to the first day of the race for a refund.  There is a $3 charge for all cancellations.  Within 8 days of the race, no cancellations or refunds are allowed. Participants can defer their race entry to a future race. All deferral requests need to be sent to [email protected].
