LIKE AN AIRBNB BUT BETTER: Units are individually owned
Beaver Run Resort is unique among lodging facilities because each unit is individually owned and each is different. Some have kitchenettes, others have full kitchens, or you may have booked a hotel room. Not all have balconies. Yet all enjoy the amenities of Beaver Run Resort with pools, spa, restaurants, slope access, ski storage, indoor parking and more. Our team can help you find the best lodging for you or click “book now.”
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
Before you arrive, review the confirmation email and Know Before You Go (KBYG) info. Be sure to share it with your traveling companions so they are in the know. Save the number for Beaver Run’s main switchboard in your contacts: 970-453-6000. It will be handy when in Breckenridge to call for services or questions, especially the in-town shuttle that typically operates during peak times.
SPA:
Want to enjoy a spa treatment while you are here? Advance reservations are recommended for the treatments (massages and facials are the most popular) and don’t forget to ask to add on – for free – the soaking tubs and mineral pool or upgrade your treatment and add on oxygen, champagne or additional services like a scalp massage or aromatherapy. Call 970-453-8757 to book your spot or click your way to our online booking.
DINNER RESERVATIONS:
During peak season, dinner reservations at Spencer’s Steaks & Spirits, Beaver Run’s hidden restaurant gem, are also recommended. Call 970-453-8755 or make your online reservation, easy peasy.
CHECK-IN:
Upon your arrival, your first stop will likely be the lobby at the entry portico. Here you’ll find the front desk and bell service. The lobby is warm and inviting, with mountain-themed artwork and a stone fireplace. Natural light beckons you to the rear of the lobby where you’ll find restrooms and a grand staircase leading up to the ski slopes, restaurants, retail and the Skywalk Bridge.
PARKING:
If you travel in your own vehicle, take advantage of the free 15-minute parking spaces at the entry. If your arrival process stretches longer, don’t worry, you are a guest at Beaver Run Resort and the front desk can help you. If you’re flying, we highly recommend you take an airport shuttle (these are paid and must be booked separately. Our concierge team can help with reservations).
Parking is paid at Beaver Run, even for lodging guests. Ask the front desk for the best place to unload your luggage, and then where to park. (Hint: It might be easier to pull into an outdoor parking lot to unload luggage for Building 4 and some of our other buildings. Make sure to ask the front desk for parking tips).
Check to see if the Beaver Run Bell staff is available. Call or text ahead and take advantage of their expert navigational help. The best number to call is 970-453-6000 x5.
BEAVER RUN OVERVIEW:
Beaver Run is BIG. There’s a reason they say “We go BIG at Beaver Run.” The resort is comprised of five buildings:
1. Main Building: Lobby, conference center and dining outlets (Spencer’s, Skywalk Market, Base Nine, Coppertop), plus the ski lockers and retail & rental shops for gear
2. Building 1: Lodging units, plus The Spa at Beaver Run
3. Building 2: Lodging units
4. Building 3: Lodging units with an indoor/outdoor pool and 8 outdoor hot tubs
5. Building 4: Lodging units with an outdoor pool and 1 large outdoor hot tub
All of these buildings are connected by walkways and the Skywalk, the main corridor between the lodging buildings and common areas. Before you arrive, check out the interactive resort map so you know what building you are in, how to find the Skywalk, and how to get to the pools, slopes or restaurants.
Once you are settled in, take some time to explore the resort. One flight up from the lobby is Spencer’s Restaurant offering family friendly meals, an all-you-can-eat buffet (check hours). In the winter, Coppertop is open with a downstairs cafeteria-style option and an upstairs bar and café. At Beaver Run, they like to say – “we have the best mountainside decks in Breck.”
Outside on the plaza, find direct access to the Beaver Run SuperChair (operates only in the winter) and summer hiking trails. Or relax in the sunshine and gaze at the mountains or the flickering flame of the outside fire pit.
Take the elevator or climb one more flight of stairs to Level 3 for the Skywalk Market, the Skywalk and the extensive Conference Center.
The Skywalk Market has what you need in terms of sunscreen, sunglasses, snacks, food, coffee, beer, and locally beloved pizza.
This level takes you to the Skywalk which connects you to Buildings 1 through 4 and amenities like the Hub Bar, pools, parking and arcade room. At the far end of the Skywalk, signs clearly mark 4-3-2 to access those buildings via elevator or walk way. The way to Building 1 is through the Blue River Hall and arcade room. Each building is also color-coded for way-finding from the parking areas and elevators. Building 1 is red, 2 is yellow, 3 is green, and Building 4 is orange.
The Hub is also where you’ll find the best hot tubs in Breckenridge and the indoor-outdoor swimming pool that Beaver Run is famous for. Attractive lounging areas line the walkway and air-cleansing house plants fill the room.
In the winter, a favorite of long-time guests is Building 4. While it’s tucked away from the main activity of the resort, it makes up for its distance by the convenience to the slopes. Building 4 offers the best access out the side door to the ski runs and Beaver Run SuperChair. The slope-side ski locker room means less time carrying your gear. Pool, hot tubs and lounge area complete the building’s offerings.
Beaver Run Resort provides everything you need for a great vacation. But you’re not going to want to keep to the resort because Breckenridge is so worth taking the time to explore. Here are a few more tips for enjoying the Town of Breckenridge.
TOWN OF BRECKENRIDGE:
Getting into town is easy, it’s all downhill! Walking to downtown Breckenridge takes less than 10 minutes on a sidewalk or on a trail paralleling the ski run. To get back to the resort, options include the gray route on the Breckenridge FreeRide or the free Beaver Run in-town shuttle, when available. Having the Beaver Run switchboard phone number in your contacts makes calling for the shuttle a breeze. Dial “0” when you’re in your unit. Or, 970-453-6000.
If you drive, parking is no longer free in Breckenridge. Most lots and all on-street parking require a modest fee. Get a jump on your parking by downloading the Passport Parking app and attaching a credit card for payment. Learn more at BreckPark.
Reservations for dinner in town are highly recommended, especially during busier times of the year. Learn more from the Breckenridge Tourism Office.
Expect seasonality. As ski season ebbs and before summer begins, Breckenridge takes a deep breath and many businesses close while locals take vacations. The same can be expected in the fall before the ski season starts. Learn more about seasonal closures here.
Seasonality also means weather changes. Breckenridge is cold in Noviembre and Abril. Snow lasts well into Mayo and can start again as early as Octubre. Checking the forecast before you pack can ensure you’ll have what you need, whether flip-flops and shorts or Sorels and down jackets.
Have more questions or need additional information? Our reservations and front desk staff are always happy to help. Give us a call at the main switchboard at 970-453-6000.
