One of the evening’s most iconic traditions is the Torchlight Parade on Peak 9, where skiers carrying bright red torches descend more than 1,000 vertical feet down the mountain, creating a spectacular trail of lights.

New Year’s Eve Highlights

🎿 6:00 PM – Torchlight Parade on Peak 9
Watch Breckenridge Ski & Snowboard School instructors light up the mountain as they ski down Peak 9 carrying glowing torches.

✨ Glow Worm Parade
Beginning approximately one hour before the Torchlight Parade, young skiers and riders who can independently navigate a green run are invited to participate.

🎆 Approximately 9:30 PM – New Year’s Eve Fireworks
Look to the skies as fireworks launch from the base of Peak 9 for an approximately 15-minute show.
