From an intimate evening with rising Americana artist Hope MacGregor to a full day of free concerts featuring Grammy Award-winning bluegrass legend Peter Rowan, the Labor Day Music Festival offers something for every music lover.

Grammy Award Winner • Bluegrass Hall of Fame Member
Few artists have influenced American roots music like Peter Rowan. A Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and 2022 inductee into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, Rowan has spent more than five decades shaping the worlds of bluegrass, folk, country, and Americana.
After launching his professional career with Bill Monroe’s legendary Blue Grass Boys, Rowan went on to perform with iconic groups including Old & In The Way, alongside Jerry Garcia and David Grisman, helping introduce bluegrass music to an entirely new generation.
His performances blend remarkable musicianship, rich storytelling, and decades of musical history into an unforgettable live experience.
🎤 Hope MacGregor

Nashville recording artist Hope MacGregor returns to the stage following Freitag evening’s intimate performance. Her powerful songwriting, soulful vocals,
and blend of Americana, country, blues, and folk have earned her national recognition and appearances alongside Grammy Award-winning artists.
Expect heartfelt stories, memorable melodies, and plenty of personality.

Known for his authentic songwriting and heartfelt performances, Tyler Griffith creates music rooted in real life, family, and the outdoors. His blend of country, Americana, and acoustic storytelling makes him a perfect fit for a Colorado mountain festival and a favorite among Beaver Run guests.

Location: Spencer’s Restaurant Patio & Firepit (subject to weather)
Kick off Labor Day Weekend with an intimate evening of music featuring Nashville recording artist Hope MacGregor. Set against the cozy backdrop of Spencer’s patio and firepit, this free interactive performance invites guests to enjoy live music, storytelling, and conversation with one of Americana’s fastest-rising artists.

7:30 AM – Noon
Start your Labor Day Samstag with The Beaver Run, a scenic mountain road race through Breckenridge. The race begins and finishes on the Riverwalk Center Lawn, followed by an awards celebration at BBQ at the Base from 10:00 AM – Noon.
Participants and spectators can enjoy:
- Awards ceremony for top finishers
- Food and beverages available for purchase
- Live music from local favorite Matt Scheeriously
- A festive mountain atmosphere before the afternoon concert series
