SUMMARY:Breck's Imperial Challenge
DESCRIPTION:A challenging human-powered race up to Peak 8\, involving biking/running and then skinning up\, often in costumes. \nIf you’re looking for a tough honest challenge with a low-key community vibe then you’ve come to the right place. The Imperial Challenge helps commemorate springtime in Breckenridge. \nAll competitors race from the Breckenridge Recreation Center to the base of Peak 7. Then\, after transitioning to uphill gear\, all competitors climb to the top of Peak 8 at 12\,987′. SAME DAY REGISTRATION\nRegister on race day at the Breckenridge Recreation Center\nCheck\, cash and credit cards accepted. \nPACKET PICKUP\nSaturday\, April 4 beginning at 7:00am at the Breckenridge Rec Center \nDEFERRAL POLICY\nParticipant may cancel 8 days prior to the first day of the race for a refund.  There is a $3 charge for all cancellations.  Within 8 days of the race\, no cancellations or refunds are allowed. Participants can defer their race entry to a future race. All deferral requests need to be sent to racebreck@townofbreckenridge.com.

Two days of free concerts AND two days of pond skimming. \nSend it into spring in style with us at Peaks & Beats when it all goes down this spring at the center of the universe\, the base of Peak 8. \n\nSaturday (4/25)\nNimino\n\n\nFrom Slopes to Skims – Join us at the base of Peak 8 for the return of Peaks & Beats \nNimino headlines Day 1 of Peaks & Beats taking the stage at the Base of Peak 8 at 3 PM with opener kicking off the live music beforehand at 1 PM. All live music is FREE and open to the public. \nSunday\nSunday (4/26)\nWuki\n\n\nEnd Peaks & Beats weekend on a high note with Wuki taking the main stage on Sunday afternoon at 3 PM! \nOpening DJ will get us started at 1 PM\, immediately after the pond skimmers throw down.
